The much-anticipated musical “Wicked,” beginning its four-week run Wednesday at Charlotte’s Ovens Auditorium, makes it clear that Dorothy shedding in on Munchkinland isn’t even half the story.
Instead of monitoring Dorothy’s journey to look the Wizard, “Wicked” tells the story of how two women – one with emerald inexperienced skin, the opposite beautiful, bold and popular – develop to transform the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.
