I became in love with this song ever since I’ve seen WICKED on broadway(: It was an amazing show that leaves you speechless and makes you want to see it again! So, like this video if you seen the show and give it a thumbs upp! If you haven’t seen it yet I recommend you do! I enjoyed singing this song and you might tell that this song is a little high for me with all those breaths, but other than that, I think I did a great job((: Btw, it looks like its out of sync a little, but I say that in all my recent vids because, they’re all taken from my ipod! Marty Thomas did a cabaret called “Songs I’m Not Supposed To Sing” at the Duplex Cabaret Bar in NYC in Feb. 2006. He’s known for doing songs made popular by women because hes got this insane crazy high belt. It’s kind of freaky but crazy cool. He is in Wicked on Broadway, here he covers the cover song from the show. It’s not the best I’ve heard him do it, but it’s still unbelievable. If ever there were to be a male Elphaba I think the choice would be clear!!!!

Rare footage from a music video created by a group of media students in America for Kerry Ellis’ rock version of Defying Gravity. Was filmed while Kerry was working in Wicked on Broadway. The final music video has not been released publicly and was apparently never intended to be released. You can probably tell why as it is rather obviously a student-made film from the quality of it.
